Thousands of books and articles were written about the Holocaust of European Jews, and not everything is known: lies, deliberate distortions and just pits and disgusts the truth. The initial motive for writing the book was the desire to tell the story of my family, a few dozen out of the millions, who perished in various different ways in the war - and to tell them the great saga of the Holocaust. I asked to get answers to the questions they didn't give me: what did they know and what did the other victims know when they entered the wagons that led them to death? Could they escape? What did they know and what their good neighbors, friends and non -Jewish acquaintances did? Who exactly were the killers and what did they drive to do such horror? I interviewed victims, family members of war criminals, soldiers and good neighbors, who in the archives I found out how "good" and compassionate were. For some of the questions, I found answers, others left unanswered. But beyond the difficult questions, I have learned a great deal about the importance of hatred of the "togetherness" cultivation, in the contribution of Christian religion to hatred after, in the rise of false mythologies and the unimaginable importance of propaganda that human beings from the settlement became the greatest murder of humanity.
